Serving Suggestions:

A wine for classic roasts, great steaks and venison and cheeses – Ideal for Indian and Malesian food.

Tasting Notes:

This is a supple, elegant and very appealing wine with the tannins well integrated, but prominent enough to need 6 months longer to show off the ripe, fleshy black-cherry, plums, chocolate shadings to their best advantage and to be combined to the tone of spicyness and peppery flavours which are insured by the Shiraz in good percentage.

Ageing Potential:

Drinking exceptionally well now and will gain in intricacy over the next five year

Producers Comments:

The Leopard Spot Red is a red blend made from a selection of grapes of our best blocks of Shiraz and Pinotage, with a touch of Grenache Noir. Full red wine suggesting ripe berries overlaid with black pepper and spicy flavours. Well integrated tannins. It is dedicated to our Leopards, stunning creatures living on our mountain where they were spotted more few times. Made to be taking you to a special spot in South Africa
