It is always exciting when starting the final action of a year farming, no matter what. It is time for olives now! As we got back from the long weekend beginning of May, we started harvesting our Frantoio. Draught affecting our grapes production wasn’t kind with olives either, but Ayama trees are generous. Lots of olives, even if smaller, are filling up the crates quickly and getting pressed the same day. Oil yield is smaller than average, but quality is promising to be one of the best of the last years. Looking forward to have all of you tasting it in our soon to be opened Wine Tasting Room and Ayamateca! #ayamaolio #ayamawines #ayamateam #saolive #ayamateca
